On Tuesday’s show, titled “The Christian as Poet: Seeking Wonder and Beauty as Children of God,” I will be sharing all about Goodnight, Child of God, discussing the role of art and poetry in the life of Christians, and sharing a little about my own experiences of wonder and beauty in my work as an author and poet.

Wisdom and Wonder
I wish to be counted among the wise To see all of life with wondering eyes For wonder leads one to see self as small To seek the Lord though trials befall To know each person bears image marred Yet more glory and worth than every star To trust the Father for our daily bread No fear of want or lack should one dread But holding fast with faith and love All gifts are given and grace enough For children marvel with pure hearts Upon us the name of child God imparts
