Greetings on this fall Friday,
I hope this email finds you and yours well.
First, I would like to apologize for failing to send out a poem in September. The month simply got away from me. I’ve also been working through a serious case of writer’s block. While I haven’t done much writing lately, I have been doing quite a bit of thinking, reflecting, and seeking to nurture gratitude and wonder in my everyday life. I am hopeful these activities are planting the seeds for future fruits in the form of poetry. Thank you for walking with me through this season!
Today’s poem was originally drafted as an idea I had for a children’s book. Sometimes wonder can strike and the ordinary becomes wonderful! This is the essence of what I hoped to capture in the text of this poem.
I hope you experience a little glimpse of wonder today!
Thank you for reading and supporting my work.
With gratitude,
Drew Chancey
